Post 17: Victimizing the victim

Let’s take some time to discuss abortion. The argument is “What about cases of incest and rape?” Good question. Let’s say a young girl is raped by a family member, stranger or friend. She has been traumatized. As we have learned, Trauma means the brain

is not functioning properly. Someone has abused her beyond her capacity to comprehend, access, and process events. Certainly, a person suffering from this condition does not have the capability of making decisions concerning life changing events.
Let’s next consider why abortion exists at all. Someone has violated the laws of God by violating a girl. This person does not want to get caught. In theological terms this is called “covering up sin”. Actually it is covering up a sin at the expense of others. So the purpose of abortion in the case of incest and rape is protecting the guilty by victimizing the victim. True or false?
What are the effects of abortion? At least one person always comes out dead. Guilt, and other effects of trauma are compounded in the one left alive. The rate of cancer increases. Emotional and psychological symptoms such as depression increases. Follow the money. The doctors and politicians get rich.
Father, forgive us for what we have allowed.
