Cages

If I were to place an animal in a cage, the animal will try to get out.
The longer an animal is in a cage, the better the chances are it will find its way out.
Animals do not like to be caged.

Trauma is a cage.

Some people who read these pages think it is too personal, too detailed. But the person who wrote this has escaped and moved on long ago.

In talking with one person who thought the “Walking Dead” pamphlet was too personal, and mentioned that she felt uncomfortable reading it, I realized she had never experienced this kind of trauma. It was not for her.

No, this is not personal. Even the examples I mention from my own life are not personal. This was the cage I was in. What I show here are the holes in the fence created for escaped. If you were to look for me in these ancient writings, you will not find me. Instead, look for me running along the hills like a wild mustang. These old fences are no longer mine.

An animal will seek escape from cages. A person seeks healing.
Once God sets us free, we are indeed free.
