Clothesline Project

The clothesline project is a collection of tee-shirts made by people who have survived abuse. “It is a graphic display depicting the horrors of violence. Here, a person can devote a page on our clothesline blog. decorate it and say whatever you wish as a testimony to your experience.” Each category has an assigned color. Select a color to begin your project. Save it for later editing, or submit it to me. I will contact you, then publish your work.

The color codes are:

White For Violence ending in death (Submitted by friends)
Yellow, Beige For Battering or Assault
Red, Pink, Orange For Rape or Sexual assault
Blue, Green, For Incest or Child Abuse
Purple, Lavender Attacks of Sexual Orientation

We can add other colors for military depending on the color of uniform you wore:

O.D. Green For Vietnam or older
Camo Green For Jungle Warfare
Camo Brown For Desert Warfare
Sky-Blue For Air Force
Sea green, or Gray For Navy
