The first thing we need is comfort. Trauma shakes us to the very core of our being. It affects us in ways we do not know. We need friends who will stand beside us, encourage us, and believe in us. But even then, there are times when we are alone and all we have is our thoughts and memories. We need to remember God and His word. This may seem like a long piece to memorize, maybe you will need to break it down into little parts, Do your best. It will help.
