Synchronization

Synchronization: Neurons of the brain talk with each other at certain frequencies depending on the activity of the brain. When they fire at the same rate the brain is much more efficient. When they are out of sync they are less efficient. In my research, I found claims that neurons will grow, especially between the two halves if the brain is kept in sync. The brain is encouraged to go into sync in the presence of Classical music for example.

Brain waves have been studied and named according to their frequencies:

Delta (1–4 Hz),
Theta (4–8 Hz),
Alpha (7.5–12.5 Hz) relaxed wakefulness, increases when the eyes are closed.
Beta (13–30 Hz)
Gamma (30–70 Hz) Gamma activity often increases during increased mental activity

Amplitude is also a variation of wave activity.
